I am watching the Martha Stewart Show today and everyone within the audience is blogging, so I decided to blog too! LOL Martha's daughter Alexis is also on the show. I love her! She is a riot!!! Although, she does get a little mouthy towards her mother. Also her co-host Jennifer from "What About Martha" is also on and they both crack me up. They just tell it like it is!
Martha Moments blog is something I need to really check out! Sounds like a great blog. Pim is the queen of the food blogger at Martha Stewart. Foodie Handbook looks pretty neat and I need to link up with her site and check it out too! I will post the links once I find them...lol! If you are able to turn on channel 2 or Fox, Pim and Martha will be making Pad Thai next. I have always wanted to learn this recipe. Pretty cool to be able to watch, type, blog and learn.
1/2 cup Thai fish sauce
1/2 cup tamarind juice
1/2 cup Thai palm sugar
simmer
tablespoon of chili powder
warm up wok
add vegetable oil
then add large shrimp
pinch of garlic
tofu
spoon in sauce - 1 tablespoon of sauce on shrimp
watch that you do not over cook the shrimp
take shrimp off
add more oil to wok
add Thai noodles into wok
add pickle turnips
and then add more sauce = 2 or 3 tablespoons of sauce and stir
keep noodles moving so they do not clump together
now add shrimp and tofu mixture, add bean sprouts, garlic chives (use scallions instead)

Martha took and added scrambled eggs to the wok and spread it out thin in a circular motion within the wok, once cooked she added the Pad Thai within the thin egg. Looked really good!
Now Martha has Alexis and Jennifer are chatting. This seems a little cold and not comfortable. Now she seems like she is warming up. LOL! WhatEverRadio.com is Alexis and Jennifer's blog.
Next is Jeff talking about, "My year of cooking fabulously". I got Jeff's twitter post this morning and that is really why I am even watching this show and also blogging. Jeff you hooked me :). Jeff is going to work with Martha with frosting cakes. Orange and almond cake with swiss meringue frosting. Looks and sounds yummy! First crumb coat the cake, just start at the top and pull down with an off set spatula. Wow this frosting looks amazing! Man I would like a little lick of that frosting spoon...lol! I am dieting so who really could blame me! lol. Then chill the crumb coated cake. Now they both have chilled crumb coated cakes called white coated. Now add your final layer of frosting. Looking good Jeff and Martha! Okay, time for tasting! Martha's tip, if you cut the cake never take out the first piece that you cut, always take the second piece out first. Martha just granted Jeff with a revolving cake plate. Can't wait to read Jeff's twitter entries.

Martha, just granted Andrew with a gift of cleaning products. I need to find some of her products to try and see how they work! Not sure which store carries her cleaning products. Maybe Kmart or Sears. Something to check!
