I love gardening! I have a large perennial garden. Lots of beautiful flowers are getting ready to bloom and have my camera ready and raring to go! LOL

Been so busy!

Sorry I have not posted photos in a few weeks. I have just been so busy with client photo shoots and working at the hospital. Lots of babies the end of April and into this first week of May. I will be putting up PROM sneak peeks of client shoots on FB in the next few weeks, so check them out!!! Also, enter the KJD Mother's Day Photo Shoot Giveaway while you are on FB. Detroit Rocks - Skating Show

Went with my husband and younger 2 daughters to see Detroit Rocks Skating Show on Sunday. The girls had such a great time and boy does Suburban put on a great production!!! Can't wait until Emilee is in it next year. Lots of fun!

Been really busy with photo shoots with newborns. Just had to post a couple photos of little Mikie.

Rain Rain Go Away!

It has been drizzly and rainy here for the past few days, so I decided to take some photos outside. Then decided to colorize and age the photo a tad. Very cool!

Textures

Today is a beautiful day in MI

What a gorgeous day outside! I hope this is the pattern for spring to arrive. I had to get out of the house and into this beautiful weather and took a nice long walk around the lake. Took some neat shots of nature. This is not always the best time of the year to snap photos outside but I just had to get my daily camera usage! LOL. I will post photos after I download from my camera card. Love the blue skies and sun shine! God is so awesome in all his creations!

Elie's Beads - So cool!

Of course I had to snap these cool hanging beads at Elie's restaurant! We had my fathers retirement party (43 years...Congrats Dad!!!) there and the beads just caught my eye! Played a little with bokeh effect in the middle photo & last photo.

Well, today I did a no no...I played with my food on my plate...lol! I always tell my kiddo's not to play with their food and the table but I went against my cardinal rule. Oops! I just had great sun shinning in thru the window and instead of eating I snapped some photos and then played with light textures. I have been purchasing and making my own textures the past 4 months and just really wanted to have some photoshop fun. Psst...don't tell my kids I did a no no! LOL

Today as I dropped my girls off at school giving kisses and hugs, I happened to gaze up at the sky and saw such beauty; A bright sunny day, with ducks flying in a v-formation across amazing white puffy clouds. As I pulled off the road to take a few snap shots I pondered at the glorious perspective beauty that I was capturing. I love to share these great snap shots with others. My camera actually does make me stop and as they say it, “smell the roses." In the past, life for me was always go go go, with lots of stress involved due to a deadend banking job. Since taking the step and starting my own business, as a freelance photographer, I just enjoy life so much more! I have my sparkle back and I love to share it and inspire others! I am taking time to photograph babies at our local hospital, so that families will have memories of their little ones to always cherish. I love to capture the beauty of newborn babies, little children, families, engagement photos, animals, landscapes, flowers and more. It just fills me right up with delight! My clients are always giving me great feeback and praise and that makes it so worthwild and rewarding! Quote: Frangrance always clings to the hand that gives you roses.
